Sequel Challenge

I'm on vacation this week and next, but I thought that I'd post a hint about the sequel to Screwing Up Time. If you can figure out what language this is written in, you'll have a big hint where the sequel is set.     I also have no idea. It looks like some Eygptian language but don't know for sure. The picture is very original and I like that.
